The University of Houston-Clear Lake (http://www.uhcl.edu) is a culturally diverse university with an enrollment of around 9,000. The campus is 30 minutes from downtown Houston and Galveston Island, adjacent to NASA-Johnson Space Center, located near a large petrochemical complex and the Clear Lake recreational area.
